My son regularly comes home from school with a piece of homework and if it’s a piece on history he loves nothing more than jumping straight onto the computer trying to find out more about the subject they are working on.
I have always used the internet as a tool for searching information and try and encourage my children to use it that way too particularly when it comes to their project homework. Their school now sets homework to be done via the website accessed from home rather than writing all of it down on paper. Even my son who is 5 has his own password and login from school and loves logging in from home and playing the learning games which at the age of 5 I think is great.
With the internet being such a huge part of many people’s lives, many companies are now turning to an SEO company (Search Engine Optimisation) to help their business be found in search engines and be up there with the top companies in their field.
How things have changed from when I was at school. I think I was lucky if we had a class using computers once a month and from what I can remember, I am pretty sure they were the old BBC computers!
