• How To Choose The Pillow For You

The importance of having a good pillow has been highlighted over the last several years.  Before this, people would just go out and buy whichever pillow they fancied but when scientists started to make connections between the quality of your sleep and the quality of our lives, many started to view bedding in a whole new light.

Depending on how you sleep will depend on what pillow is the most suitable for you and if you suffer from neck pain too.

If you sleep on your side it can be difficult to find a comfortable pillow as you need to support both your head and neck but there are a range of memory foam pillows to help this.

For those that sleep on their back, you will need a thinner pillow as having your head elevated too much when sleeping can cause neck problems and possibly back pain too.  You should try and choose a flat, medium-firmness pillow that will support both your head and neck.

If you are someone that likes to sleep on their tummy, you will need a soft, flat pillow so you are comfortable and properly aligned.  People that sleep on their stomach don’t need as much support for their head and neck and many stomach sleepers just want something to lay their head on.

Neck pain can indeed be extremely painful and can make sleeping uncomfortable if your pillow isn’t supporting your neck the way it needs to be supported.

If you are treating yourself to some lovely new pillows, why not also treat yourself to some luxury bedding too so you can really enjoy climbing into bed each night after a long hard day.

So choose the right pillow for you and you won’t have to worry about wasting yet another night’s sleep!
